Community is at the heart of all wind projects. As it should be.
Local jobs
We employ the community to deliver on wind projects for its 30+ year operational lifespan. Regional communities have an incredibly capable workforce with a wide range of skills in earth moving, concreting, trucking, cranes, and engineering. We’d love to have them on our team.
Environment
One of our biggest stakeholders is the environment. That’s why every site we assess is met with ecology experts like Biosis and EBS Ecology to protect flora and fauna systems.
Extra precaution care
We get it. Wind farms are a big thing. That’s why we attentively look into potential human impacts for wind farm noise, visual studies, long term effects, and safety safeguards. We trek out and visit every wind site to assess it in person, not just from an office.
We give back for every turbine
Trust works both ways. Because communities trust us with their land, we propose a trust fund that gives back to those very communities. Based on how many wind turbines are constructed, we’ll match it with annual payments paid into the fund starting from when the project commences construction.
We’re always keen for locals to tell us what matters to them – making sure that we put funds into projects that will most benefit the community.
We’re in this for the long haul
From the very first community discussion, through to the construction and completion of the wind farm, we’ll consult locals. Even long after the wind farm has been built, we will continue to keep a pulse on the community with regular updates and meetings.
