Wombelano Wind Farm

By pairing up with a local land owner, we’ll create a new renewable energy source to help stabilise and boost the regional grid. Local power means more resilient and empowered communities.

35 MW output potential

Local land owner

By working closely with just a single landowner, approval processes and decisions can be made quicker.

The site is located near a zone substation, allowing easy access to transforming and transporting energy created by the wind farm.

Zone substation

Zone substations are owned by electricity distribution companies and are a key part of moving energy around the grid. Its job is to transform the pressure of an electrical current running along a powerline (voltage) from one level to another.

Substations convert the power voltage from transmission levels to distribution levels so that it can be safely and efficiently delivered down our streets.
